Crave for color

I've recently been inspired by some artists online (Inechi,Muura, Clarabacou and Farfocle to name a few) as well as my friends from high school. Coming back to the city makes me miss drawing a lot, realizing that everyone else I had been with has now moved on to an unbelievable experience exploring their talent in art schools... it's a little cringe inducing. It's an up and down love-hate thing I have for not taking the easy way (or whatever you wanna call it). It's easy to be a bum selling crap on the street, at flea markets and in stupid hippie fairs (I love that!)... but how much work does it take to keep the creativity flowing when you're trying to be a stupid ass superhero for wildlife sciences. BY JONES!

 

 

Inspiration... errrr lack of...

I miss the Quarry, it was an amazing place to escape to and just brimming full of inspiration. I'd really like to use some of the looks of the place in future drawings. The colors and atmosphere! Lurv it!

Tundra to the Pavement

They weren't lying when they said it was a hellhole of a tundra here (although, it's tempting to dropkick every 8 foot long icicle I see). As much as I've enjoyed the long hikes through the quarry, meadows and forests in Autumn, there comes a time in upstate New York when everything is just a suckass barf fest of snow everywhere. This cues the migration down to the City, away from pure white fluff and to the filthy pavements of the underworld that I call home. This transition spurs on another shift in the college monotony, making a blog. I couldn't keep the last Art blog I made for the hellavit so here goes another.
